PA Packs Christmas Shoe Boxes for Operation Christmas Child

An annual tradition in the making: this year has become Paddlers Anonymous’ 3rd year to participate in the internationally renowned Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritan’s Purse project. This holiday program operated since 1993, spans 100+ countries over six continents and distributes festive shoeboxes packed with toys, school supplies, critical hygiene items and other gifts, regardless of a child’s gender, race or religion.

With an ever-growing number of schools, book clubs, sports teams, and corporations, contributing annually to this cause, the number of shoeboxes distributed each year has been increasing exponentially.

In November, PA had members from all three teams join together to shop and pack a total of 68 shoeboxes! Once again we are excited to contribute to Operation Christmas Child, and will be looking to put smiles on children’s faces again next year!
